We can’t believe that it’s been just over 3 months since we started our travel blog! While we’ve come a long way in producing new, and hopefully interesting, posts about our travels, we still have a long way to go in terms of learning the more technical aspects of blogging and balancing managing MY Travel BF with our day jobs.
Our goal is to give you (our readers), a wealth of travel information about destinations that we’ve been to and you want to travel to. This way you’ll be able to taste some of the delicious food we did and experience some of the awesome things we did all while avoiding the mistakes we made while traveling.
In doing all this, we thought it’d be a good idea to start a series of monthly posts recapping what happened. These posts will give you our monthly highlights, our top posts of the month (in case you missed them), and a look at our lives outside of travel.

Highlights
Denver
We traveled to Denver over a long, 4-day weekend we had off of work. Last year, we visited Denver and fell madly in love with it, so we wanted to go back and visit. This second trip out there was to both do some things we didn’t get to do the first time we visited and to see if we really loved Denver or if we just loved it the first time because it was a new, exciting place. To put it simply, we still love Denver.
Make sure to subscribe to our email list or follow us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter to read about our time in Denver and our recommendations for your next trip there.

Visit to Madison
Becca’s brother is an undergrad at UW-Madison, and we went up to visit him and some friends who were in town the same weekend. Madison is a beautiful city that always has a lot going on. It’s also where Becca went to college. Although we got there right at the end, we were able to stop by the Madison Farmers’ Market, which is the largest producers-only farmers’ market in the United States.

What’s happening in November?
Running a Marathon and Half-Marathon
Mid-November we’re headed back up to Madison for a race. Becca is doing the half-marathon, and Mike is doing the marathon. We’ve been training for it the last three or so months, so we’re hoping everything goes according to plan on race weekend, including the weather. We’re both shooting for PRs, so keep your fingers crossed for us!

Mike’s 30th Birthday!
Towards the end of November, Mike will be turning 30! While he’s not worried about it nor in the midst of a mid/quarter-life crisis, it’s still a big milestone birthday. Since Mike’s such a great decision maker, he’s not sure how he wants to celebrate yet, so that remains to be seen…
